Love Turned into a Tree: Daphne and Apollo’s Story
Daphne
and Apollo’s story is always heartbroken. Especially for the Apollo …
Generally, It is an impossible love story which ends with a sad ending in Greek mythology. But as an Author, This is a love story that was born of anger and revenge. But This story is describing what can happen If a man is rejected or even though a person – a god who has obstacles like being blind such as Cupid’s Greek counterpart can be the most powerful among the other good-looking gods-people. And being immortal tree, a tree is also a healer for years but also gives pain to a lover.

The
story begins with Apollo’s returning from a war with the python, a huge snake
treating the people. After turning back to the snake’s body, They made a
special festival named after this snake as Pythian Games. After gaining such
huge fame and glory Apollo was too arrogant and silly. So he was
underestimating the other gods who seem like weaker than him. One day he saw
Eros (a.k.a) Cupid’s Greek counterpart then he was making jokes around him. As
like ‘Oh little winged boy, what are you doing with these men’s weapons, they
are too dangerous for you! He always implied how he was a cute and winged boy
because Eros was famous for his looks, wings and skills with archery. Apollo
was jealous of Eros because of these. He was overthinking that Cupid the Greek counterpart was stealing
his spotlight by doing nothing and not having anything but just being cute. And
Eros finally got offended…
The
rising action is coming up…
Eros
smoothly hit the Apollo even though he didn’t realise that. As a god of love,
he didn’t hurt his bones or physically but he hit his heart with an arrow. And Apollo would learn it soon, and so do
we!
The
first golden arrow was for Apollo, the second arrow-shaped blunt and led her
shaft, and this one was for Daphne.
She was a nymph (pure water fairy). She had fairy beauty and men were crazy
over her but she wasn’t interested in love issues. She was focused on hunting
and following her idol the goddess of hunt Artemis. But every dad in the world,
her dad was insisting on that she had settled life and gave birth a grandchild to him.
So the second arrow worked and Daphne’s heart
was filled with hate for Apollo while his heart was filled with love for Daphne.
Day by day the love for Apollo was rising while Daphne was disgusted whenever
she saw Apollo. In the end, Apollo was a psycho and he was following her,
running to death to catch her. Then finally he did it and grabbed Daphne.
Daphne was full of fierce and scared as demonstrated by Apollo. She was
screaming to her dad who was a river of god Peneus. She was calling her dad to
save her. Peneus was there in time. he made her a tree because eternity and
immortality are always described with trees such as the tree of Life. Daphne
was transforming into a tree. Her beautiful hair turned into leaves, her arms
branches and her legs roots. Apollo even couldn’t look at her face she was a
tree. He saw the only beautiful laurel tree. His love turned into a tree but
his love never ended. He grabbed the leaves and kissed the tree. And he implied
that In every beautiful, glorious and fabulous moment, her leaves would be with
them. As we see ancient Rome and still now the crown is surrounded by the leaves
of the daphne tree. In the Olympics, Pythian games and graduation in Italy people
wear a crown of laurel as Apollo promises. In greek mythology This story is one of the best examples of how love can
transform into a more beautiful form. Maybe they could fall in love without an arrow
or not. Besides all I mentioned This
story is implying karma. Everything you cause in life end of the day you will
live the same. Daphne was treating Apollo the same that Apollo was treating the
Eros. The emotions were different but the feeling caused by them was the same.
Here that is the
epic story of our website. Why we choosed it?In every conditions , end of the
story we want to make tree effect as in mythology makes. In every mythological
story it doesn’t matter which country has but tree always means to be a healer
and has meaning of eternity , immortal. So we want to make our words eternity
